Spent Easter at a beautiful castle with loads of history and character. The room decor was impressive and the meals were delectable, especially the dinner. , the castle had a great pool for some fun in the sun. The location was perfect for exploring the surrounding areas as we were able to visit many nearby towns.
The entire castle was freezing cold, including the room. No central heating or space heaters were provided in the room.

Spending Christmas in a historic location was an unforgettable experience. the cozy atmosphere in the room, decorated with minimalistic Christmas decorations and a fully equipped tea table, was a pleasant surprise. the traditional dinner served on Christmas Eve was delicious and offered a local wine that was amazing. the area around the hotel was perfect for nature lovers as it was surrounded by forests.
The hotel lacked some basic amenities we expected, such as proper heating in the room, as we felt it wasn't sufficiently warm, especially at night. the hotel is in a remote location, and there are no shops around for miles.

This place has a vintage touch to it that can take you back to the 17th century. the rooms are exquisitely decorated and properly maintained, giving you the historic vibe. the bathrooms of the rooms are clean and hygienic, unlike the broken chairs and table in the pool area. the hosts are friendly and welcoming. they offer candle-lit dinners, which gives you a cozy feeling as if you are dining in a castle.
The pool area is unkempt and uninviting, filled with broken chairs and wooden tables covered in bird droppings.

We had the best experience sleeping in an authentic castle! This hotel had wonderful surroundings, friendly staff, and great facilities. We enjoyed the guided tour and the history behind this very nice place. The staff went out of their way to make our stay comfortable, providing excellent breakfast and even preparing a lovely meal for us. The rustic feel of the place was perfect, with squeaky doors and uneven floors adding to the charm. The swimming pool and various relaxation areas in the hotel were perfect as well.
Nothing not to love.
